Your time is too valuable to waste!
For 2019, I set a goal for myself to do more running.
Now, I am TERRIBLE at running, and I NEVER want to do it… and because I am so terrible at it, it makes my heart work really hard (which will help me build a bigger engine for jiu jitsu. To build my will power and discipline muscle, I thought… “hey, let’s tackle running!”
But I haven’t, really. Mostly because my knee started bothering me. As soon as I realized that I had been putting off more running because of my knee, I went to see a physiotherapist. I don’t want to waste anymore time. I want to get to my end result as quickly as possible, so I went to see an expert in order to help make that happen.
Time is the most precious thing we have on this planet, and once we spend it, we cannot get it back. I didn’t want to waste ANY unnecessary time with my knee before I was back to full health.
You could ask yourself the same question as it relates to any goal you are trying to achieve. How many years have I been wasting doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result? How much time have I wasted not making the progress I want to make?
If you are spending your time to reach a goal, you want to achieve your result in the fastest, most efficient and effective way possible.
