Joe started out with a mission to inspire people to live well,
which has underpinned every aspect of Urban Fitness since it's inception.
Joe is behind the programming for most of our onsite and online programs. You might also recognise him from social media (Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat etc.).
He doesn't get to spend as much time as he would like coaching anymore as the demands on his time are constantly increasing with new sites, public speaking and consultancy work for some of Ireland’s largest companies.
Even with his hectic schedule he still manages to stay on top of his own training in the gym and on the Jiu Jitsu mat. The rest of his time is spent with his wife and daughter.
Mikey has always been heavily invested in health and fitness. He competed in several sports at a high level. As often happens with athletes he was offered the opportunity to coach which he seized, leading him to discover his passion for sharing knowledge and helping people improve.
Mikey has become one of Ireland's leading strength & conditioning coaches with a huge depth of experience. He was the head lecturer at the prestigious Elite Fitness and Performance Academy from 2013 to 2015.
Mikey had to step away from his position as head lecturer after being recruited as the Regional Wellness Specialist for LinkedIn’s EMEA HQ.
He also heads up the morning training here in Sandycove.
Rob has was the head tutor for the gym instructors at the Elite Fitness & Performance Academy. Rob was drawn away from teaching by the chance to deliver a wellness program for Ireland's largest company, CRH.
Rob has a huge number of tools at his disposal he taught many coaches the foundations of what they know today.
He is a certified functional strength coach, advanced nutrition coach (Level 4) and SFG kettlebell coach (Level 1).
He is continuously furthering his fitness education travelling the world attending workshops, seminars and courses with the top strength and fitness professional’s to keep himself and clients up to date with the most effective and modern techniques to achieve their goals.
Rob heads up the women's workout and splits the evening group coaching with Conor.
Conor is a highly experienced, knowledgable and effective trainer. From the moment he decided to follow his passion for health and fitness, he instantly stood out from the crowd. It has led him to be constantly sought out within the industry.
Conor has worked with a magnitude of people of all ages, shapes and sizes. From one of Dublin’s top strength training facilities to prestigious Fat loss gyms, he has helped people shed fat, build lean muscle tissue, get seriously strong, increase their energy levels and transform their lives.
His knowledge of the human body is vast and he is constantly educating himself attending various courses and seminars on exercise and nutrition. He takes an individual approach to every person as he believes there is no “one size fits all”. His excellent communication, passion and energy will help any person achieve there goals and get the results they desire.
