When we work out and sweat, we lose body fluid which means that we need to drink water whilst training to replenish the fluids that we’ve lost from sweating.

Staying fueled is also essential as if you don’t eat enough before the gym then you can end up feeling faint, dizzy and not being able to push yourself to the max. You need to be fueling your body with plenty of slow-releasing carbohydrates, as well as balancing fats and proteins too to get all of the necessary nutrients in. Eating enough and drinking plenty of water are important steps for those starting off at the gym.
